About Chuí Lighthouse
This lighthouse, built in 1910, stands 30 meters tall with its light at a focal height of 42 meters. It emits two white flashes every 35 seconds, visible for 46 nautical miles. The structure became operational in 1910. It is located in southern Brazil, near the Uruguayan border, marking the entrance to the Chuí Stream.
Why it matters: It marks the mouth of the Chuí Stream and is the southernmost lighthouse in Brazil.
