This square concrete tower, standing on an octagonal base, is painted with red and white horizontal bands. It is located at the end of the south breakwater for the Casa de Campo Marina, on the east side of La Romana. The structure reaches a height of 7 meters, with its light positioned 27 meters above sea level. It emits a steady red light visible for 14.7 nautical miles. The site is open to visitors, but the tower itself is closed to the public.
Why it matters: This light serves to guide vessels safely into and out of the Casa de Campo Marina and marks the physical end of the south breakwater.
