This 14-meter fiberglass tower, marked with a white finish and a single red horizontal band, exhibits a white flash every seven seconds. Its light originates from a focal height of 125 meters, with a noted range of 27.4 nautical miles. Located on high ground north of Arcos de Canasí, it is situated in the northeastern section of Mayabeque province. Varadero, the closest port, is 7 kilometers distant.
Why it matters: As Cuba's highest light, it offers navigation aid for vessels traversing the northern Mayabeque province coastline.
