The Berkeley Pill Range Rear light is a square, cast iron skeletal tower, standing 12 meters tall. It was built in 1937, replacing an earlier light established on a wood post in 1906. The tower is painted black with a white lantern and carries a slatted white daymark below its gallery. Its focal plane is 11 meters above sea level, and it exhibits a fixed green light. This structure is situated on Berkeley Pill, on the south side of the Severn estuary, approximately 175 meters south of the front range light.
