The Torre Canne Lighthouse stands on a point of land in the town of Torre Canne, about 40 km northwest of Brindisi. Constructed of concrete, the octagonal white tower, measuring 32 meters in height, was built and first lit in 1929. It rises from the seaward side of a 1-story keeper's house and is topped with a lantern and gallery. The light emits a white flash every 10 seconds, visible for 16.2 nautical miles. The lighthouse site is open to the public, though access to the tower itself is restricted.
