The Tachigami lighthouse, built and first lit in 1937, is a 9-meter-tall, round, cylindrical concrete tower. It features a lantern and gallery, and is attached to a one-story concrete equipment room. The lighthouse is situated on a steep-sided rock at the entrance to Naze harbor, close to the port of Naze. Its operational status ceased in 2019. While the tower is closed to visitors, the site remains accessible by boat. It is located in Amami, Kagoshima Prefecture, Japan.
