About Point Lookout Lighthouse
This square concrete tower, built in 1932, stands 5 meters tall on the northeasternmost point of North Stradbroke Island, Australia. It is situated 78 meters above sea level, providing a focal height that allows its light to be seen for 22.4 nautical miles. The lighthouse emits a white light with a characteristic of one white flash every 15 seconds. Although the original lantern has been removed, the white tower remains operational.
