About Hiro Se Southwest Lighthouse
Also known as: Hiro Se Southwest (Hiro Se Training Wall)
This lighthouse is an 11-meter cylindrical concrete post, painted white with a single black horizontal band. It is attached to a 1-story concrete equipment shelter. The structure stands at the end of a breakwater that extends southwestward from the Hiro Se area. Its light emits a single white flash every three seconds. The site is open to visitors, but the tower itself is closed to the public.
Why it matters: This lighthouse provides a clear navigational reference at the terminus of the breakwater, helping to prevent collisions with the structure and guiding local vessels safely past potential hazards.
