A black, skeletal tower, 8 meters in overall height, carries a lantern at a focal plane of 4.5 meters. The structure consists of a lantern elevated on tripod piles. The light produces two white flashes each 8 seconds, with the color changing to red or green based on bearing. This marker extends 8.2 nautical miles in clear visibility. Access to the location is permitted, but entry into the tower is not allowed. It is situated at the approach to a protected inlet near Ørland.
